MacKenzies Outside Catering Service had a great weekend of providing hospitality for Currie Rugby Club and Boroughmuir Rugby Club.

Over 120 lunches were served before kick off!

We’re looking forward to next weekend with Robert Burns 250th Anniversary where Haggis will be served over the weekend at MacKenzies Restaurant.

Steaks

A lot of restaurants have now removed steak from their menu due to the cost, however we at MacKenzies Restaurant feel so many people love to have a steak when they are out for a meal that we will keep them on our menu.

On the set Supper Menu for the next few weeks we have a half pound Sirloin Steak topped with Ham and Cheese on a Provencale Sauce. The Supper Menu is available Monday to Thursday.

On the Dinner Menu the Steak Dish is topped with Roasted Shallots and Mushrooms and Port Wine jus. You will find the Dinner Menu available on Friday and Saturday nights.

The A La carte menu which is available every night of the week has both 10oz Fillet and Sirloin Steaks served with a great selection of classic sauces or garnishes. Also available is a 10oz Fillet stuffed with Course Grain Mustard and Smoked Cheese coated in Whisky and Arran Mustard sauce.

Please feel free to ask us if there is a particular steak dish that you would like and as long as you give us 24 hours notice we can prepare it for you. At the moment, the favourites are 14oz T-Bone Steaks and Chateaubriand Steaks for two people.
